Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced that Preston Philip Seeholzer, 45, was convicted of two counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child by Possession of Sexually Exploitative Material (Child Pornography). The Possession of Sexually Exploitative Material is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Seeholzer was sentenced on August 14, 2026 by Twin Falls County District Judge William R. Hancock.
In approximately February 2025 through August 2025, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received multiple files of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) from an I.P. address located in Twin Falls, Idaho. After obtaining search warrants, officers searched Seeholzer’s home and devices, locating numerous files containing CSAM. Many of these files depicted minor females ranging from approximately four (4) to ten (10) years old. Most of these files showed children involved in sexual acts including with adults and other children, which were penetrative, oral, or manual touching with sexual intentions.
Judge Hancock sentenced Seeholzer to a total of fourteen years, ordering he be eligible for parole after serving two years. Upon release, Seeholzer will have to register as a sex offender pursuant to Idaho law.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy Attorney General Madison Gourley. The investigation was led by Investigator Jim Bohr and Forensic Investigator Gregg Lockwood. The ICAC Unit was assisted by the Meridian Police Department, Rupert Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations, Idaho State Police, and Twin Falls Police Department.
