For Law Enforcement
The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit is the lead agency for the ICAC Taskforce and is a full-time investigative and forensic element tasked with investigating ICAC-related cases throughout the state. The unit is comprised of an ICAC commander, 3 operational coordinators, 17 investigators, four forensic examiners and one administrative assistant. Ten of these positions are Office of Attorney General employees and nine are unit affiliates from various law enforcement agencies throughout the state.
ICAC Taskforce
The ICAC Taskforce consists of nearly 100 investigators, forensic examiners, prosecutors and support personnel throughout the state who work ICAC-related cases on at least a part-time basis. This collaborative agreement is facilitated through a Memorandum of Understanding and provides financial support for ICAC-related training, equipment and overtime.
The ICAC Taskforce is always looking to add additional law enforcement agencies to help detect, investigate and prosecute those who prey on our state’s children. For assistance with ICAC cases in their jurisdiction, affiliates are eligible for ICAC-related training, equipment and overtime.
