(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden has announced investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit made two arrests Friday as a result of separate investigations.
On Friday afternoon, the ICAC Unit arrested 29-year-old Omar Trejo of Boise. Trejo allegedly communicated with an undercover investigator he believed to be a woman and her 15-year-old daughter and arranged to meet them for sex at a Meridian business. When Trejo arrived at the establishment, he was arrested and charged with attempted Lewd Conduct with a Minor Child Under 16. He was then booked into the Ada County jail.
The Meridian Police Department assisted in the investigation.
On Friday evening, ICAC investigators arrested a Payette man for allegedly contacting an undercover investigator posing as a 15-year-old girl for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. 20-year-old Matthew Allen Caldwell allegedly arranged to meet the minor at a location in Payette.
Caldwell was arrested and booked into the Payette County Jail. He’s charged with Enticing a Child Through Use of the Internet or Other Communication Device.
The Payette Police Department and the High Desert Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
