Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 20-year-old Yiems Benitez Zaragoza on August 20, 2026. Zaragoza was taken into custody on 10 counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material.
These charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
The ICAC Unit received assistance in this case from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Police Department, and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works in partnership with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies committed to investigating and prosecuting individuals who use the internet to exploit children.
