Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 29-year-old Craig Dietz on July 15, 2026, Dietz was taken into custody on three counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material. These charges are allegations only; the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The ICAC Unit was assisted in this arrest by the Pocatello Police Department, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, and Idaho Falls Police Department.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works in partnership with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to investigating and prosecuting individuals who criminally exploit children online.
