Attorney General Raúl Labrador has announced that investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested 45-year-old Thomas Stewart on July 23,2026. Stewart was taken into custody on eleven counts of possession of child sexual exploitation material. These charges are accusations only; the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The ICAC Unit was assisted in this arrest by HSI, US Marshals, Post Falls PD, Kootenai County Sheriff, Coeur d’Alene PD, Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit collaborates closely with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a statewide coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to investigating and prosecuting individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
