Attorney General Raúl Labrador announced that investigators with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested David Poff, a 55-year-old Canyon County resident, on June 30, 2026. Poff was arrested on four counts of aggravated lewd conduct with a minor under 12, two counts of rape, one count of lewd conduct with a minor under 16, and one count of intimidating a witness. These charges are allegations only; the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
The ICAC Unit was assisted in this arrest by the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), Boise Police Department (BPD), the Idaho ICAC Task Force, and Nampa Police Department (NPD).
The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works in partnership with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a statewide coalition of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to investigating and prosecuting individuals who criminally exploit children online.
