(Boise) – Attorney General Lawrence Wasden says investigators arrested a Payette man Wednesday for sexual exploitation of a minor.

Wasden says investigators with his Internet Crimes Against Children unit arrested Stefan S. Gregory, 25, after conducting a search of his home and seizing devices from his residence.  The investigation began after investigators received a report of a minor being victimized over the Internet via social media from the Port Orchard, Washington Police Department.

Gregory is being held in the Payette County Jail and will face one count of sexual exploitation of a child.

Wasden also praised law enforcement officers from the Payette Police Department and the Payette County Sheriff’s Office.

The Idaho Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit is a coalition of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies that work with the ICAC Task Force to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the Internet to criminally exploit children.
